The Alumni Association holds an annual gathering on the last Friday of each in-person event of the Genealogical Institute on Federal Records. Gen-Fed Alumni in good standing are invited to attend with a guest.
This year’s Alumni Association Reception will be held on Friday, August 16th, at Sazerac House (507 C St NE, Washington, DC). The evening will be hors d’oeuvres and cash bar at 5:00 p.m., followed by the speaker at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person.
Travel: The closest recommended metro station is Capitol Hill South. Some limited street parking is available or use the garage at 214 Massachusetts Ave NE.
Our keynote speaker will be Trevor K. Plante, Supervisory Archivist at the National Archives speaking about the Digitization of NARA Records.
